Macroeconomic Policy

Macroeconomic Policy Department outlines and monitors the realization of the macroeconomic policy, prepares monthly, quarterly, annual reports and documents, such as the Pre-Accession Economic Program, the National Development Plan, etc. The Department prepares short- and medium-term projections on the main macroeconomic indicators (GDP, inflation, employment, wages, etc.), which are used as input when planning government policies within the competence of the Ministry of Finance, and within the scope of operations of the other ministries and institutions. The Department also is in charge of the preparation of the Bulletin of the Ministry of Finance.
